Once you've logged in to Judge's Companion (JC) with the meet password and personal access code, you'll need to select the apparatus, rotation, and roles you will be assuming. After providing this information you will be able to enter scores for athletes.
If you are new to judging, we've created a guide that dives into the anatomy of how scores work in artistic gymnastics. You can interact with the guide as you would map, traversing the different components of a score to understand how it is composed.
To enter a score for an athlete, be it difficulty, execution, or a video, follow these steps:
Log in with the meet password and session password
Select the apparatus you're judging on
Select the current rotation the athletes are in
Select the judging role you've been assigned to (D1, E1, E2, ...)
You may have been assigned multiple roles such as D1, E1, and E2. In that case, you'll see all the fields you must enter: difficulty, neutral deductions, bonus, E1 deductions, and E2 deductions.
Now that you've entered all your information you will be presented with the list of athletes you've been assigned to judge. You can now begin entering scores. Depending on your role(s), we've provided different guides for you:
